What is a termite reticulation system?
Termite reticulation systems are a network of underground pipes which are utilised to supply specific termite treatment chemicals. They allow for precise control over the application of the chemical which will protect the home from termites which would have otherwise entered the property from the outside.
How often does the system need to be refilled?
The chemicals inside the reticulation system have to be refilled every 2-3 years to ensure that they are still deemed as effective. At Certified Pest Management we are experienced termite reticulation specialists and can identify problems before they occur. We are an accredited and certified Termidor handler which allows us to complete refills of the reticulation systems to the certified Australian Standard.

What to do if your system has not been refilled in the last 3 years?
Should your termite reticulation system not have been refilled in the the last 3 years and you have not had a certified timber pest inspection. Certified Pest Management would have to conduct a timber pest inspection before refilling the reticulation system. This is to ensure that there are no termites at the property and if some are deemed to be present, that the correct action is taken.
